Univar Solutions Tops ICIS 2019 Chemical Distributors Ranking in North America with $6.3 Billion

Univar Solutions tops the 10th ICIS Top 100 Chemical Distributors ranking in North America. With a global network of 24 research centers and 10,600 employees in more than 130 countries, US-based Univar Solutions is the leader in North America with $6.3 billion in sales in 2018. The company also ranks second on the global list with total revenues of $8.6 billion.
 
In North America, Univar Solutions is followed by Germany-based Brenntag with $5.3 billion in revenue. US-based Tricon Energy comes in third with $1.2 billion in sales, followed by Netherlands-headquartered IMCD with sales of $1.09 billion. Germany-based Helm comes in fifth with sales of $1.06 billion.
 
The ranking was compiled by ICIS with the support of the US-based National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC), Brazilian Association of Chemical and Petrochemical Distributors (ASSOCIQUIM), Responsible Distribution Canada (RDC), the UK-based Chemical Business Association and the International Chemical Trade Association (ICTA).
